Our lawyers receive regular one to one training and guidance, with opportunities to discuss their work, strategy, advocacy and professional development directly with senior lawyers. We also have regular team discussions where everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas, raise issues and understand where the Firm is heading.
We make time to come together as a team. We have monthly lunch meetings, celebrate birthdays and important milestones, and make a conscious effort to build relationships beyond the work that we do together.
We believe good work should be rewarded. Our team typically receives both a mid year bonus and a year end bonus, subject to individual and Firm performance. As Louis Liaw Chambers grows, we want the people who contribute to that growth to share in its success.
We believe there should also be something to look forward to. We normally organise a local team retreat around the middle of the year and an overseas team trip towards the end of the year. It is our opportunity to celebrate what we have achieved, recharge and simply enjoy ourselves together.
