I am passionate about the Art of Advocacy and I aspire to be a respected counsel/barrister like Dato’ Dr. Cyrus V. Das, Datuk DP Naban, Dato’ Ambiga Sreenevasan, Dato’ Malik Imtiaz Sarwar, just to name a few, one day.
While I have had my fair share of successes as a counsel, there is still much to learn and improve.
Thus, I frequently read up on books, listen to lectures, and attend training courses on advocacy, be it oral advocacy, trial advocacy, or written advocacy.
This page is therefore where I publish all my notes, thoughts, and lessons on this tool of trade, together with other advice, guides, and tips relating to legal practice in general.
I trust that it is most useful for young lawyers, pupils, and aspiring lawyers, but who knows? maybe even senior members may learn a thing or two from them.
So, I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them.
